Origin : Vines planted on the heights of the village of Solutré on former poor pastures
Soil : Sedimentary rocks from the Cretaceous period, clayey type
Vinification
Vinified from purchased grapes, the bunches are pressed by pneumatic press, the juice is put in static settling for 12 hours. The clear juices are then transferred to stainless steel tanks for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, under temperature control.
After fermentation, the wines are aged on lees and in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Tasting notes
This Mâcon-Solutré expresses all the character of the "Chardonnay" with notes of citrus fruits associated with a minty and mineral touch which offer the freshness and the generosity of the white wines of Mâconnais.
